Here's a simple plan for getting guest-ready, what a holiday deep clean covers, and how to time it so the house still feels fresh when the doorbell rings.

The short answer
- Book a deep clean a few days to a week before guests arrive. That gives the whole home a detailed reset, with enough time left to decorate, shop and cook without undoing all the work.
- Request your quote early. Your own calendar fills up fast around the holidays, so getting your quote and date on the calendar ahead of time takes one thing off your list.
- Keep it fresh with a quick touch-up. The day before guests come, focus on the guest bathroom, kitchen counters and entry. Or, if you're already on our recurring schedule, line up a standard clean close to the big day.
Deep clean or standard clean before hosting?
If your home is cleaned regularly and just needs a refresh, a standard clean may be all you need. But if it's been a while since your last professional cleaning, or you want the whole house looking its best for company, a residential deep cleaning is the better fit. Not sure which one? What a holiday deep clean covers
A deep clean reaches the spots a routine clean moves past quickly, the ones guests tend to notice when they're sitting around your table or staying over:
- Bathrooms: showers, tubs, toilets top to bottom, sinks, counters and mirrors, exterior cabinets, exhaust fans, and floors and baseboards
- Kitchen: counters, backsplash, stovetop, sink and fixtures, exterior cabinets and drawers, the outside of the microwave, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher, and the dining table and chairs
- Bedrooms and guest rooms: dusting surfaces, blinds and ceiling fans, making the bed, and vacuuming and mopping
- Living and sitting rooms: blinds, ceiling fans, surfaces and baseboards, pillows and blankets straightened, and floors vacuumed and mopped

Good to know: interior appliances (inside the oven or fridge) and interior cabinets aren't part of a deep clean unless you add them to your booking. If you want the fridge cleaned out before the turkey goes in, just ask for it when you request your quote.
A simple guest-ready timeline
- 2–3 weeks out: request your free quote and pick your cleaning date.
- The week before: your deep clean. Afterward, keep clutter off counters and floors so the house stays company-ready.
- A few days before: wash guest sheets and towels, and stock up on toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels.
- The day before: quick touch-up of the guest bathroom, kitchen counters and entry, then make up the guest bed.
- An hour before: put out a fresh hand towel, wipe the bathroom sink and enjoy your guests.

Thinking about regular service after the holidays? Your first recurring visit is an initial deep clean at the Deep Cleaning rate for your home size, so a holiday deep clean can be a great starting point. After that, recurring visits are 10% off weekly, 5% off biweekly, and standard pricing for monthly. Discounts apply to the base cleaning only, not add-ons, and can't be combined.

How booking and payment work
Before your team arrives, please pick up clutter, like clothes, toys and items on counters and floors, so our cleaners can reach the surfaces you're paying for. The time you book starts a one-hour arrival window.
No deposit is collected up front. A card on file secures your appointment; on the morning of your appointment we place a temporary hold on your card for 50% of the service price, and the balance is charged when the service is complete. If you cancel after that hold is placed, we keep half of the hold and release the other half. Residential appointments canceled within 24 hours of the start time, or where we can't access the property, have a fee of 25% of the booked service price.
